Using Firefox on Desktop Computer
1 Open Firefox. Its app icon resembles an orange fox wrapped around a blue globe.
2 Click ☰. It's in the top-right corner of the Firefox window. Clicking this icon prompts a drop-down menu.
3 Click Options. This is in the middle of the drop-down menu. Doing so opens the Settings page. On Mac or Linux computers, you'll click Preferences here instead.
4 Click the Privacy & Security tab. You'll find this tab on the left side of the page.
5 Click the "Firefox will" drop-down box. It's beneath the "History" heading that's in the middle of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.
6 Click Use custom settings for history. This option is in the drop-down menu. You should see several more options appear below the "History" heading.
7 Check the "Accept cookies from websites" box. Doing so will enable cookies for your Firefox browser. If this box is already checked, Firefox allows cookies.
Using Firefox on Android
1 Open Firefox. Tap the Firefox app icon, which resembles an orange fox wrapped around a blue globe.
You cannot change cookie settings in the Firefox mobile browser for iPhone or iPad; they are already enabled.
2 Tap ⋮. It's in the top-right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear.
3 Tap Settings. This option is at the bottom of the drop-down menu. The Settings page will open.
4 Tap Privacy. You'll find it near the middle of the page.
5 Tap Cookies. It's near the top of the page. Doing so prompts a pop-up window to open.
6 Tap Enabled. This option is at the top of the pop-up menu. Doing so enables cookies for your Firefox browser.
