Using Google Chrome on Desktop Computer


Open Google Chrome 

 

 Click . It's in the top-right corner of the Chrome window. Clicking it prompts a drop-down menu to appear.

 

 

Click Settings. This option is near the bottom of the drop-down menu. The Settings page will open.

 

 

Scroll down and click Advanced . It's at the very bottom of the Settings page. Doing so will prompt more options to appear.

 

 

 

 

Scroll down and click Content Settings. This option is near the bottom of the "Privacy and security" section.

 

 

 

Click Cookies. It's at the top of the page.

 

 

Click the grey "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)" switch 

It will turn blue and Google Chrome will allow cookies from now on.

  • If this switch is blue, Google Chrome is already allowing cookies.

 

 

 

Using Google Chrome on Android

 

Open Google Chrome 

 

. Tap the Chrome app icon, which resembles a red, yellow, green, and blue sphere.

You cannot change cookie settings in Google Chrome for the iPhone or iPad; they are already enabled.

 

Tap . It's in the top-right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear.

 

 

 

Tap Settings. This option is at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Doing so opens the Settings page.

 

 

 

Tap Site settings. You'll find this in the middle of the Settings page.

 

 

Tap Cookies. It's at the top of the screen.

 

 

Tap the grey "Cookies" switch

This is at the top of the screen. The switch will turn blue signifying that Google Chrome will allow cookies from now on. 

If this switch is blue, Google Chrome is already allowing cookies.
